Jessica Mutters Morales, DO
I am originally from the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. I attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. I was fortunate enough to be recruited to their Division I women’s soccer team. I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. I received my osteopathic medical degree at University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine.
I met my husband in medical school. We couples matched into pediatric residency at University of Louisville and graduated June 2025. As part of the Advocacy track, I learned to advocate at the individual, community, state, and national level. Volunteering reminds me why I choose medicine, specifically pediatrics, so I helped organize our program involvement within the community. With my undergrad degree in psychology, I am passionate about assisting those struggling with mental health and finding their voice. I understand the prolonged wait to see specialist and the overall shortage of pediatric specialists and intend to expand my knowledge to bridge those gaps. My husband matched into neonatology fellowship at University of Louisville.
We are fortunate to have a home with our two miniature Australian shepherds, Oakley (black tri) and Evie (red merle). I love to bake cupcakes and cakes in my free time. My husband and I enjoy traveling and outdoor activities, such as hiking and picnics. I read in my free time and explore local coffee and brunch.
